Background

Manny Vilar has deep roots in the community, and has long been dedicated to serving it. Among his many commitments, he has served as a NYS Park Police Senior Sergeant, he is founding president of the Police Benevolent Association of NYS and a small business owner. 

Manny is a father of six, grandfather of two, dog dad, a husband and proud son of a 98 year-old fisherman. Manny was raised understanding that hard work and integrity are paramount as well as fighting for those who can't.  Among dedicating his life to serving to protect and advocate for others, Manny is an executive board member of a local domestic violence organization, dedicating his knowledge and expertise to the group.
